How long does it take to complete a brand?

The time is takes to complete a single criminal defence solicitor  brand will change dependent on the specification but normally takes between 1 month and 3 months. If it is a very small project and you have all the text and content ready for me then it may be possible to have it completed sooner.

What is hosting, and is it necessary?

All brands on the internet are 'hosted' on central computers (called servers) dotted around the world. When you access a brand you are sending a request to these servers. In simple terms, the servers then 'send' back the brand to your computer for you to view.

Hosting is the service you are paying for to have your site stored on one of these central computers (Servers). If you are reluctant to this, I do offer hosting at a very low price for my clients only, so just let me know and I can have it organised.

What do I need to supply for you to get started? ... How do we get the ball rolling?

How are the brands actually made?... What technologies do you use?

Normally the brand creation process will start with me mocking up a preliminary draft, which, once approved will be made into the actual brand using various technologies (This is the part that takes a while). Once all the various parts of the brand are completed (i.e. all the pages), they are uploaded (normally via FTP) to a hosting server and can then be accessed by the WORLD.

I use a range of technologies to create the brands, all dependent on the requirements of each individual project. Mostly used are technologies such as PHP (for dynamic sites), xHTML, CSS, JavaScript and MySQL. Software utilised normally includes Photoshop (for graphic creation / manipulation), Dreamweaver etc.
